How to Use GALBA CMC Care | Shampoo, Treatment, Emulsion and Mist Compared

Little Scientist's GALBA CMC Care is a series made for women troubled by hair damage, focusing on CMC (cell membrane complex). All 4 products contain the "CMC care ingredients," including natural human-type ceramides (ceramide NP, ceramide AP, quaternium-33 (an 18-MEA-like ingredient) and cholesterol). The 2 in-bath products

For the shampoo, wet your hair thoroughly, take an appropriate amount in your palm, lather lightly, spread it through all your hair, wash as if massaging the scalp, and rinse well. For the treatment, lightly remove excess water after shampooing, apply an appropriate amount mainly to the ends, work it through all your hair, leave it on for 2–3 minutes and rinse well. At our salons, we tell customers to comb the ends with a wide-toothed comb while it sits so it spreads throughout.

When to use the emulsion vs. the mist

For the emulsion, spread an appropriate amount well in your palms after towel-drying, apply mainly to the ends, work it through all your hair, and dry to finish. The maker explains that it settles hair so it combs through easily and is easy to manage.

The mist can be used after towel-drying or on dry hair. Spray an appropriate amount over all your hair from about 10–15cm away. The maker explains that it controls waves and flyaways. At our salons, we suggest using the emulsion at night to smooth the ends before drying, and the mist in the morning on bed head and flyaways.

Scent and precautions

All 4 products have "a refined citrus and fruity floral scent." The maker warns not to apply the emulsion or dry your hair in a room using a fan heater that draws in indoor air (volatile ingredients can cause ignition problems). The mist makes floors slippery, so wipe it off if it gets on the floor.

FAQ

Can I use both the emulsion and the mist?

The maker's page gives no guidance on combinations. At our salons, we suggest using them separately, at night and in the morning.

The bottle is hard to open. Why?

The maker explains that the pump lock (screw-type lock) is tight to prevent leaks.

How does it differ from ToiToiToi?
