LebeL's "viege" is an aging care (care suited to age) series for the scalp and hair of mature women, created with a focus on supplements that concentrate the nutrients and functional ingredients of vegetables. There is 1 shampoo, and the treatment comes in 2 types, V and S.

Where V and S split

Both are treatments that "strengthen the inside of the hair and soften waviness." If you want firmness and body, V (more body); if stiffness or coarseness bothers you, S (more softness).

When unsure between V and S, at our salons we tell people to pinch a single hair and run it between their fingers. If it is fine and weak and the top tends to go flat, V. If it is thick and firm, spreads when dried, or feels stiff to the touch, S is the guide. If you feel your hair has changed with age, choose based on your hair now, not how it used to be.

Oil before drying

viege Oil is a leave-in treatment the maker calls a "care oil for mature hair," described as giving soft manageability and light shine. After towel-drying, spread 1–3 pumps well in your palms, apply mainly to the ends, then dry.

Scalp mist and essence

When using both, apply the Medicate Essence first, as the maker instructs. For the Root Care Mist, the maker says drying hair so the roots lift after applying gives a fuller finish. At our salons, we tell people to put their fingers in at the roots, direct the air onto the scalp, and move on to the ends once the roots are dry.

Can I mix V and S?

The maker's descriptions give no guidance on mixing them. Please choose one or the other.

Is there a refill?
