Amount and how to apply

The maker's directions for all of them are to "spread an appropriate amount in your palms first" before applying. At our salons, we tell people to first take about a fingertip's worth, spread it over their whole palms and between their fingers until it turns clear, and then run their fingers through from the inside of the hair. Applying to the surface first tends to make only that spot heavy. If it's not enough, add a little at a time.
